Ahmet Ali Taskin, Ph. D.

Ahmet Ali Taskin, Ph .D., studied Industrial Engineering at Bilkent in Ankara, Turkey, where he received his bachelor's degree in 2007. He received his Ph. D, in economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. He has previously worked as an economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

He is a senior researcher in the Forecasts and Macroeconomic Analyses (MAKRO) research area at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) since August 2020.

His research focuses on macroeconomics, labor economics, and financial economics.
