Dr Simon Janssen

Dr Simon Janssen studied Economics at Leibniz University Hannover. In 2006, he moved to the University of Zurich, where he completed his PhD in 2011. During his doctoral studies, he spent seven months at Copenhagen Business School. After earning his PhD, he spent a year as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University and was a visiting scholar at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University in 2013.

Since May 2014, he has been a researcher in the “Education, Training, and Employment Trajectories” department at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). His research interests lie in labour economics, personnel economics, and the economics of education.
