Dr Philipp Fuchs

Dr Philipp Fuchs studied sociology, German and English language and literature at the University of Cologne and Trinity College Dublin. He completed his studies with an M.A. in 2005. From 2005 to 2012, he was a research associate in the Regional Research Network, Regional Unit North Rhine-Westphalia, at the IAB and in the Research Coordination Unit at the IAB. From 2012 to 2018, he was a research associate at the Institute for Social Research and Social Policy (ISG) in Cologne. He received his doctorate from the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2013. He has been Managing Director of the ISG since 2019, where he heads the „Labour Market Policy“ department.
