PD Dr Joachim Wolff

PD Dr Joachim Wolff obtained a degree in economics in 1988 from the University of Heidelberg. In 1989 he was research assistant to the Chair of Personnel Management at the University of Frankfurt a. M. From 1991 to 1994 Dr Wolff was a member of the scientific staff of the Council of Economic Experts, Wiesbaden. In 1998 he completed his Ph.D. in economics at the European University Institute, Florence, Italy. From 1998 to 2005 he worked as research assistant and lecturer at the Department of Economics of the University of Munich, completing his habilitation there in 2004. Dr Wolff has been head of the IAB Research Unit „Basic Income Support and Activation“ since July 2005.
